Concert in Vågå

Next Saturday, the 28th of September, we are doing a concert at the place of violin master maker Helge M. Bergnord in Vågå. For about 30 years ago I visited his workshop and fell in love with my very first hardangerfiddle, a beauty from 1850. Helge has always been a faithful and safe companion during all this years, and in 2013 he and the Norwegian Hardanger Fiddle Fund (Norsk Hardingfelefond) granted me "Huldrefela", a ten stringed hardanger fiddle! Saturday we will play both old and new songs, also some from the brand new album by Iwashere and the project Martine Kraft & Jump Off Joe. Hope to see you there!
